A low cost carrier based at Dubai International Airport,was founded on 19-Mar-2008 and commenced operations on 01-Jun-2009. Fly Dubai serves more than 85 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Flydubai has focused on providing routes from Dubai that did not previously exist and low-cost travel options to popular vacation destinations.

They have one of the youngest and most efficient fleets in the sky today.Their planes are fuel efficient, quiet and reliable. This enables them to get you to where you want to be in the most convenient way possible. They are continuously growing their fleet of Boeing 737-800's to expand their network and increase frequencies.

Young and efficient, their Boeing 737-800 fleet is well-suited to their network. Their fleet will continue to grow as they receive delivery of aircraft from the order announced at the Dubai Airshow in 2013. This order was for 75 737 MAX 8s and 11 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800's valued at USD 8.8 billion at list prices. In addition, they retain the purchase rights for 25 more 737 MAX 8s.

FlyDubai has maintained a uniform livery on its fleet since it commenced operations in 2009. The livery is a modern white, blue, and orange design with the company website "flydubai.com" in billboard text. The airline has not yet issued a special livery design.
