HOW TO REGISTER QATAR NATIONAL ADDRESS - STEP BY STEP GUIDANCE

QATAR NATIONAL ADDRESS REGISTRATION

As per the new National Address Law,the Ministry has reminded the public including citizens, residents and other legal persons in the country, to register their national address within six months from now.

For minor children, the guardians will be responsible to register their data and ensure its authenticity.

The last date to register this information is July 26, 2020, MOI stated

"In the event that the registration of the national address is not done with the period indicated above, the violator shall bear all the legal consequences thereof,” the statement underlined.

 The National Address will serve many government entities such as,

• The Ministry of Municipality and Environment;
• The Ministry of Justice
• The Supreme Judiciary Council
• Planning and Statistics Authority

HOW TO REGISTER ?

Registration is possible through:

• Metrash2

• MOI Service Centres

REQUIRED DATA FOR NATIONAL ADDRESS

• Residence Address

• Mobile and Fixed Line Numbers

• Email Address

• Work Address

• Permanent Address Abroad

• Any other information specified by the relevant authority.

REGISTRATION THROUGH METRASH2

Once you have login to Metrash 2 you will receive a pop up message stating

“Your National Address is not yet defined Kindly Define your National Address by using Metrash2 services”

Then click National Address Icon, there you can find two options

1.Company Address

2.Add National Address

Proceed with “Add National Address option” then you will find two options again.

1.Update National Address

2.Register/inquire National Address

The First option is for updating any changes in Registered National Address.

Go for Second One (Register/inquire National Address)

From there you will asked to enter the address details, make sure you are updating the correct details.

Outside Address to be updated only for the residents/expats.

children under 18 years old under their sponsorship will be automatically registered in the same address. Spouse will have to register separately.

After updating all the required details proceed to the “next” for Registering National Address.

Once registration is done, residents will receive an SMS confirming the same with the details entered.
